The Clay Vessel
Reference 2 Corinthians 4:6-11
I have a great treasure inside me. I think that I am strong! But I am not.
I am fragile and easily broken.
But God uses my weakness to reveal the power of His love.
I have been hard pressed on every side but by the power of His love I am not crushed.
I have been perplexed but by the power of His love I am not in despair.
I have been persecuted but by the power of His love I am not abandoned.
I have been struck down but by the power of His love I am not…
I am not destroyed.
My vessel is in His hands!

Mending the Net
The early morning sun begins to burn off the fog.
The fog that you were in because of sin.
God the Father will calm the waters.
The Holy Spirit will hold your boat steady.
Jesus will begin to pull in your torn and mangled net,
ot saying a word of the mess you have made of it!
Even though from a worldly point-of-view,
it is beyond repair.
Jesus mens your net, just as if it was never torn!
Then, Jesus says, “Now go and be fishers of men.”

Truckload of Truth
The truth will not sneak up on you. The truth is like a freight truck. Coming straight at you. Ten thousand pounds of truck. Five hundred horse power. Eighty thousand pounds of truth. The truth is intimidating and fearful, but only if you are living a lie. When you turn your life around and face the truth, the truck load of truth will slam on the brakes, slide right up to you and stop. The driver will get out and say to you, “It’s your turn, you will take the wheel. You are free! Free to travel the roads of life with confidence and power.”
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
